Our Bookstore

Welcome to our online bookstore where we have books that we have published along with books that relate to our history, to our architecture, and to our famous sons and daughters.

We have published several books, our most popular being the book on plantations, and our five separate JOURNALS OF WILKINSON COUNTY HISTORY are great for genealogical researchers, presenting resource material on cemeteries, marriages, the Woodville Historic District, and the Confederacy in Wilkinson County.

We have the full series of seven indexes to the Woodville Republican which best tells our story, especially now with two hundred years of existence,  and a focus in later years of the paper on the goings-on of our residents

We have an amazing resource with Betty Bentley Beaumont's two books, which we have available as reprints, about her life in Woodville. She owned a store, had several children, ran a hotel, sold goods during the War to the Confederates,  running them to Natchez at night fording rivers in the dark of night, and dealing with epidemics.  Her husband was the engineer who designed the railroad for Judge Edward McGehee. It gives us brilliant insight into mid 19th century life in this vital town . . . .and unedited . . .in a 19th century voice.

Look down through the several dozen books we have selected and offer for sale.

Remember we are an all-volunteer organization . . .even the bookshop . . .but we will do our best to get your order to you ASAP.
